Hataguchi Collective is a proprietor of traditional paper products with a modern aesthetic. In this era of fast and disposable everything, Hataguchi Collective quietly goes against the grain, patiently taking the old and turning into something new and precious. Working with a band of paper artisans and printmakers she came across in her travels in India, she was inspired by how they gave old cotton garments a second and precious life as handmade paper. She hopes her handmade paper products inspire people to share their thoughts in a handwritten letter and rediscover the joy of receiving a handwritten letter in the mailbox.
