RELIEF for Lemnos is a porcelain clock that takes advantage of the characteristics of the manufacturing method called “gabaikomi”, a special type of casting using a liquid ceramic mixture poured into then out of a mold.

Featuring a gentle concave surface and a softly rounded frame, the 12 raised lines and slim hour and minute hands create delicate shadows across the face of the clock. These features in relief also showcase the texture of the material.
